Getting There
As with all countryside locations, in Scotland you will need private transport, and a car and bicycle is certainly the best way to see Ardnamurchan and its environs.
Directions
From Corran Ferry travel along the A861 to Strontian. Travel through the villiage and continue over the river Strontian bridge, turning immediately right onto the unclassified single track road signposted Bellsgrove and Polloch. Veer left at the junction marked for Ariundle, signposted Polloch Crafts. Continue on this road for approximately 7 miles over the impressive hill to Glenhurich and passing Loch Doilean. Glenhurich Lodge is on the right hand side of the road before Polloch.
Corran Ferry
The Corran ferry is the only ferry that connects two parts of the main island in UK. Departing every half hour on the hour, see below link for actual times. Be especially aware of times on Sundays and public holidays. www.lochabertransport.org.uk
