GETTING HERE
As with all remote locations, in Scotland you will need private transport, and a car and bicycle is certainly the best way to see Ardnamurchan and its environs.
From Corran Ferry travel along the A861 to Strontian. Travel through the village and continue over the river Strontian bridge, turning immediately right onto the unclassified single track road signposted Bellsgrove and Polloch. Veer left at the junction marked for Ariundle. Continue on this road for approximately 8 miles over the impressive hill to Glenhurich and passing Loch Doilet. Glenhurich Lodge is on the right hand side of the road before Polloch.
The Corran ferry is the only ferry that connects two parts of the main island in UK. Departing every half hour on the hour, with the last crossing at 9:30pm. See below link for actual times. Be especially aware of times on Sundays and public holidays. https://www.highland.gov.uk/info/20024/corran_ferry/812/corran_ferry
